Understanding ourselves and discovering what truly works for us can transform our habits and, ultimately, our lives.

My impressive accomplishments do not include dinners with Nobel Prize winners, interviews with Oprah, walks with the Dalai Lama ( a dream of mine), or mentions in any journals. I have not been featured in the New Yorker or any other major publication. Although I have been on television twice, I doubt anyone reading this blog saw me!

Raised in California, I now reside in Colorado with my dog, Aspen. I’ve never dyed my hair (except for Halloween), and I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 21.

Traditional meditation is challenging, and I consider myself an empathetic introvert. I have a daughter and a step-brother who both live in California.

All my other numerous family members /relatives have died and left this earthly planet.

I’m an organ donor, although as I age, I wonder what remains viable.

I need my coffee each morning—ask anyone who has seen me before my first cup!
